Home Sales for New Bern-Craven County Market
There are currently 969 homes for sale in Craven County. This is the lowest number I have seen in some time and I hope it is a sign of things to come.
There have been 1125 home sales in Craven County in the past year.
In the past two weeks, 37 homes closed in Craven County. (Week ending 12/1-13)
Of the 37 home sales in the past 2 weeks, 11 were Bank Owned properties. The percentage of bank owned/total home sales has remained fairly constant for the past few years and does not seem to be getting worse.
$45,000-$100,000=12 sales. In this price range there are 176 homes for sale!
$100,001-$150,000=7 sales. In this price range there are 228 homes for sale!
$150,001-$200,000=9 sales. In this price range there are 239 homes for sale!
$200,001-$250,000=4 sales. In this price range there are 118 homes for sale!
$250,000-$300,000=2 sales. In this price range there are 54 homes for sale!
$300,001-$500,000=3 Sales. In this price range there are 100 homes for sale!
$500,001-$2,000,000=0 Sales. In this price range there are 54 homes for sale!
Of the 37 home sales 4 were waterfront homes. Jana and I sold 2 of the 4 waterfront homes. There are currently 88 waterfront homes for sale in Craven County.

1 Townhome in Riverbend on the Canal=$95,000
1 sale on the Neuse River. It sold for $324,000.
There were 3 interior lot sold in the past two weeks. 1 in Carolina Colours, 1 in downtown New Bern, and 1 in Trent Woods .
There was 0 waterfront lots sold in the past two weeks.
